How to prepare for APICS Certification Exam

                                         How to pass APICS certification & My Experience

In Last couple of days through Social media - I received many queries about many question about APICS..

what I found that many of them are really want to know that  How to start & How to pass Apics Certification. Today we will discuss about how to pass Certification Exam.

So the key word is " STUDY". 

Apics really give good sign on your resume but do not join any APICS certification only to show that on your resume or your linked in profile. Because APICS certification is about providing core knowledge on supply chain management and keep you updated on current supply chain practices.& If you started this without understanding what APICS want it will hard for you to pass the Exam..  

Let s Start with Study - Any Apics Certification will take at least 6 Month with Continuous study of 2-3 Hours daily. So it will take at least 360 Hours of your life.. So be ready only if you are ready to Invest that much time .. 

How to Study :-  You can undoubtedly follow APICS - Exam content manual. ECM shows that how much is weight age for which module. Either you can start with less percentage module or with higher one.. Below are few things that i did 

-  Apics Dictionary everyday for 10 Min.

- Created my notes from Apics books 

- If for any concept or theory material is less I followed Reference books

- Revised Those notes everyday for 20 Min Like i want to revise one topic or Two 

- I studied on basis on Topics not on basis of Modules .

That  is all I did for study !!!  

 *** - Please don't leave any topic thinking that  this is less important because you can get one question  from that.

How to pass Exam :-  OK A/c to Apics you have to be achieve 80% from total score  .What I think if you correct almost 60%  of total question then you can cross 300. Because you do not know which question is having 3 marks or which one is half marks. So if you correct an overall 60% of total question then you can pass certification.

My Exam day Experience -- 

It was on 14 Dec.. O not last year it was on 2019.. I selected a testing center near by home which is approx 1.5 km away. what is going in my head that is "what will happen " I was also not confident I was trying to recall that did  i Left anything any topic. Till i reached testing center i was on conclusive decision in my head that " Let Give your best" Person on testing center clicked my pic and some signatures. after that he asked my seat on a system which is in next room . that room was having 2 more guys they are supreme busy and didn't bother to look at me. So i also sat quietly on my system then after 2 Min i came on screen with Apics .i clicked on some of yes and 

" Question Window came up - with first question on Logistics i found first 10 question was easy one " then Average difficult question then HARD question then again few are easy one. In mean of exam i took a break to drink a glass of water. & then again started and i saw that after completion of 2 hour i have completed all question so my strategy was i will complete all easy one and then went for average difficult and then went for hard one..so  final review i have half an hour..  i reviewed all question.  then Submitted the exam. So final boom came 

'" My passing score was 304" 

So I collected my result & then happily went home.
